Reason For Bunky Board

A Bunky Board is used as a foundation for the mattress, when istalled in a Murphy Bed. Therefore in a Murphybed we do not use a boxspring. We use a Bunky Board. As seen on the left. It is only about 11/2" thick. If you purchased a murphy bed mechanism from us you might have to buy a Bunky Board Foundation as well.
